Five steps to grow logically as a writer? I probably could’ve used that as I’m sure I didn’t so it right.
I’m sure I would have been a lot more organized about it if I’d read a post in the late-90s! Not so much info about writing then and my approach probably wasn’t very logical at the time.
Thanks, as ever, for this list, Elizabeth. As it happens, I’m revising/editing a story right now, and there are a lot of links here that will help me focus on which characters really need to be there, how to give more depth to the characters, and so on. It’s hard to use the proverbial surgical knife on a book, but sometimes, you have to.
Good luck with your revisions, Margot! Sounds like you’ve been getting lots of writing time in lately.
Thanks, Elizabeth, for including two of my articles in your weekly roundup! I appreciate it.
I also enjoyed reading the article on author promo items by Hank Phillippi Ryan. She gave bookmarks the thumbs up.
As I recall, you created bookmarks with Canva to promote your audiobooks, which I thought was a great marketing idea! I’m guessing Ryan would agree :)
Bookmarks are easy to create on Canva and very inexpensive to print out. :) A good combination!
Hope you have a great week!
