Thanks, as ever, for these links, Elizabeth! I know I’ve said it before, but it’s so nice to see people addressing the realities of creating and maintaining a writing life in these unsettling times. It’s about making time for it, focus, and self-care, too, as I see it. I think it’s easy to forget this whole thing is taking a toll on all of us, whether or not we’ve personally been ill, or know someone who has. It’s just a strange time, and I think that can sap us if we let it.
You’re so right, Margot! The whole situation is very draining and it’s important to be cognizant of our stress levels and think of ways to take care of ourselves.
