As always, Elizabeth, this is a great collection of links. I was drawn in right away to the one about whether authors should follow writing trends/fashions. I’ve always believed that writers should write what they are really motivated to write. Without that motivation, stories fall flat. But there’s something to be said for thinking about what readers are interested in, and what’s selling well. It’s a hard balance…
I think it would be really tough to write to trends, for sure. Writing what we love is so much easier!
