Twitterific writing links are fed into the Writer’s Knowledge Base search engine (developed by writer and software engineer Mike Fleming) which has over 63,000 free articles on writing related topics. It’s the search engine for writers. While you’re there, check out the Writer’s Digest award-winning Hiveword novel organizer.
Have you visited the WKB lately? Check out the new redesign where you can browse by category, and sign up for free writing articles, on topics you choose, delivered to your email inbox! Sign up for the Hiveword newsletter here.
Once again, the post is a bit messed up! It seems there may be more than 1 week’s worth of posts. Fingers crossed next Sunday will be back to normal!

Well, they might not be organized exactly the way you’d like, Elizabeth, but these are great links, as ever. I’m seeing a few here that have to do with personalizing the writing experience, and I think that’s great. I think we make a mistake when we write a certain way, or do a certain thing because another writer does it. It’s one thing (and a good thing!) to find out what works for people, and of course, to improve our writing. It’s another to adopt those things wholesale without making sure they work for us. Comparing ourselves to other writers can be problematic!
Thanks, Margot! We do have to develop what works for us, don’t we? And that’s what will help set us apart. :)
Well, we get a ton of links this week!
How are you faring after the move?
Oh, the move has been something else! I’ll have to write a post on it later. :) “How to Keep up a Writing Schedule When Everything Falls Apart,” ha!
Great links, Elizabeth. Thanks for including all the Story Empire posts!
Great links from Story Empire!
What a fabulous collection this week! Thank you for including one of mine (as well as several from my colleagues at Story Empire).
Great post, Staci!
Thanks for all the great links. Thanks also for all the Story Empire love. Means a lot to us.
Thanks to Story Empire for being a resource for writers!
Thank you, Elizabeth, for the mention, but more importantly for sharing all the links to helpful information. Have a wonderful week!
Hope you do, too, Gwen!
Amazing links, Elizabeth. Thank you.
Thanks, John!
Another great list, Elizabeth :) Thank you for including me!
Nice post, D.L.!
As always, thank you, Elizabeth for this great round-up of writing links, and for including Story Empire posts!
Happy to share! Hope you have a great week!
I always look forward to perusing these lists, Elizabeth. Thanks for being on top of this each week.
Thanks so much, Beem!
