Thanks, Elizabeth, for these links; I always learn when I visit your blog. The link I especially noticed today is the one about impromptu signings. I think it's good to be prepared to talk about books, sign a copy, etc., because you never know when there'll be an opportunity. I have what I jokingly call a 'press kit' in my car. It's got copies of my books, pens, and business cards. That way, if I happen to see a bookstore or some other likely place, I can introduce myself. Not easy for an introvert like me, but I'm hoping it'll get results.
