Thanks, Elizabeth, for these links. I always learn so much from them. This time, I noticed the article on picking up stories from the back burner. I think we all have stories we've started and then shelved. Some of them belong on the shelf (at least, some of mine do!). But some of them are good stories that just needed time to 'marinate.' And even if they aren't, you can always pillage characters or situations from them! I know I've done that.
Those old stories can prove useful, can’t they?
