Thanks, Elizabeth, for these great links. It's interesting that this time, there are a few on books that we haven't finished (either stalled or simply laid aside). I think some stories are like that. Not every idea is a novel. Once in a while, though, an idea that won't work as a novel is great as a short story or something else. Maybe it's not such a bad idea to have a file of those ides, just in case…
I threw away several manuscripts from the early-90s during my last move and haven’t thought twice about them, ha. But they served their purpose and really helped me improve.
