Thanks, as always, for these great links, Elizabeth! The ones about dialogue really resonate with me. Some of the characters in my WIP speak slightly differently from each other, and I think that's a good thing, because it helps readers distinguish among them. But at the same time, you don't want your dialect (or dialogue) to be cartoonish. It's a tricky balance
Differences in dialogue can definitely help readers keep characters apart! And it’s tricky, for sure.
